Markus Roithmeier is German and one of the co-founders of Zobito AB. He was part of the QlikTech management team from 2002-2008. In his role as VP Central Europe, Markus was key in building QlikTech’s sales model. Markus also took charge of building the QlikAcademy, QlikTech’s famous value based program for recruiting, developing, and managing talent. After Qlik, Markus served as VP Sales & Marketing for Jedox AG. In his early career he worked for several consulting firms including the London based PA Consulting Group specializing in value based sales and marketing projects. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Düsseldorf. He was also the owner of a tennis academy and has a semi-professional sports background. He lives in Düsseldorf, Germany with his wife and two girls. Markus re-energizes doing what he has done his whole life: sports. This includes triathlons, skiing off-piste or fighting the wind on his kite surfing board.
