In partnership with the private equity company Litorina, Zobito has become a minority investor in Swedish company Digpro, which provides geographic information systems to network companies and municipalities. Zobito will help expand the company’s success into new markets with an increased focus on sales and marketing.
The company’s management team and former main owners, including the founders Bo Lundgren, Svante Mjörne and Per Westberg, will remain as sizable minority owners.
Digpro, founded in 1989 and led by CEO Bo Lundgren, offers a fully proprietary system for its customers, which enables detailed network documentation and support for critical internal processes within the electricity, district heating, water and wastewater, gas and telecom markets in Sweden as well as solutions for municipalities
“We are working closely with the company’s management team to optimize the future of their sales and marketing processes by using strategic management, innovation and measurable marketing tactics. We are really excited about the growth potential of Digpro,” said Magnus Lindhe from Zobito.
The company has over 130 customers including E.ON, Göteborg Energi and Kratringen with a turnover of more than SEK 100M ($12M) in the last fiscal year with good profitability.
